Practice Policies
Please take a moment to review the following policies. These guidelines help ensure clear communication, continuity of care, and a respectful therapeutic relationship.
Acceptance Into the Practice
At the conclusion of your initial evaluation, we will determine whether your needs are a good fit for this practice. If not, I will recommend a referral to a provider or service that better meets your level of care.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This helps ensure availability for all patients.
Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged a $50 fee to the payment method on file.
Prescription Refill Policy
Prescriptions are written during scheduled appointments to last until your next visit. Please ensure that follow-up appointments are booked before your current prescription runs out.
Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time of service. Charges for professional services will be billed to the credit or debit card on file.
While I do not bill insurance directly, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Emergencies
This practice does not provide emergency psychiatric services.
If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency—such as suicidal thoughts, severe medication reactions, or any life-threatening condition—call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Non-Emergency Contact
For urgent but non-emergency concerns (such as mild side effects or a noticeable shift in mood), please leave a voice message with your name, phone number, best times to reach you, and a brief description of the issue.
Contact information will be provided during your initial appointment. Calls are typically returned within 1 business day.
